We want your new green roommate to arrive in peak condition. Because plants are living things, they can get a little stressed during travel (just like us). A yellow leaf or two is normal, but if your plant arrives in poor health, we’re here to make it right.
30-Day Policy Overview
- Live plants: You have 5 days from the delivery date to report any health issues or shipping damage.
- Hard Goods (Pots, Tools, Soil): These can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused and in original packaging.
- Some health and personal care items
If Your Plant Arrives Unhappy
If your plant is severely damaged or looks “wilted beyond a water-fix,” please follow these steps immediately.
- Take a Photo: We need clarification photos of the plant and the packaging.
- Contact Us: Email us here Contact Us within 5 days of delivery.
- The Solution: Based on the damage, we will either offer a replacement or a store credit so you can try again.
Note on “Shopping Stress”: Tropical plants may drop a leaf or look a bit limp upon arrival. This is normal! Give them a drink, some indirect light and 48 hours to acclimate before reaching out.
Returns & Exchanges
Live Plants returnable? No. Plants cannot be “sent back” as they rarely survive the return trip.
Pots, Tools etc returnable? Yes. Must be in original packaging and in new condition.
Care Kits/Soil returnable? Yes. Must be in original packaging and unopened.
What We Can’t Cover
While we love our plants, we can’t be responsible for:
Neglect: Overwatering, under-watering, or putting a low-light plant in direct scorching sunlight.
Repotting Stress: We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before repotting your new plant to let it acclimate. If you repot it immediately, our guarantee is voided.
Extreme Weather: If you order tropical plants during a storm or without a heat pack, we cannot guarantee survival (though we do our best to check the forecasts!)
